The Morgan Family--How we began

We started out first day of high school. We both noticed each other in each of our 3 classes together; although Billy claims he noticed me in a different class than I noticed him. After a whole freshman year of catching each other looking, a sophomore year of jealousy on Billy's part when he witnessed Nora get flowers from a boyfriend in class, a junior year of Billy having other girlfriends and Nora thinking he didn't like her anymore, we finally came together on our first date--HOMECOMING--October 6, 1997. After that the following Monday you could say we were going "steady." I moved 1 1/2 hours away for college and visited on weekends--which were more stressful than not with the issue of the church being my priority and Billy's dilemma. Finally, he moved to Thatcher also and was able to listen to what I'd been trying to get through to him for the last two years. He was baptized on February 26, 2000, just under a month before we were married. It was like he already knew everything about the church but it was lying dormant waiting to be wakened. He dove right in. We were married on March 24, 2000. We were sealed in the Mesa, AZ temple on March 24, 2001--our one-year anniversary--and also 7 1/2 months pregnant. That made for a blissfully, blistery day. Emma Louise was born May 10, 2001 in Safford, AZ. Emma was and still remains a very dedicated "Make-Mom-Pull- Her-Hair-Out" child. We could dedicate a whole blog to the conquests of Emma. But Emma also has a sweet side that makes me smile. Always ready to apologize and loving to give a hug and kiss. Abbey Viktoria was born December 28, 2002. She and Emma are 19 1/2 months apart--a perfect gap for two girls IYAM(if you ask me.) Abbey does her share of antics but is a more vocal child in the way of driving me crazy. She is not afraid to voice her opinion and does so frequently (often in public to passers-by.) But Abbey will melt your heart with that demure little smile and insanely thick, black, long eyelashes which she flashes from time to time when you have said something to make her laugh. Isabel Darlena was born the first of twins 11 minutes before Olivia LoRene. They are very different in appearance,(actually resembling Emma and Abbey, respectively) temperament, and size. They both have their unique smiles and cries which can both make us laugh and cry. Life adjusting to two babies at once is a work in progress on all parts, with each family member going at their own pace. In the midst of all this "mayhem" we have experienced 11 moves, 9 cars, 12 years of college, 20 different jobs, 8 years of marriage, and insurmountable blessings. We've been through a lot--from getting up at 2 a.m. every day of the year while attending school full-time, to finding your 4 year-old naked in the complexes' pool full of strangers, by compromising every holiday on whose family it would be spent with, to having your car stolen while you stand five feet away from it in Chevron mini-mart, to being propositioned by a naked drunken girl in her car as you throw newspapers in the snow at 3 in the morning, to going 2 whole months without a paycheck because the county your boss is contracted with hasn't paid him yet, to working on your feet 30 hours per week, pregnant with twins and still attending school full-time, to working 3 part-time jobs while attending school full-time, to watching your 4 year-old trip in a bowling lane with a bowling ball bigger than her head in her hands and gash her chin open to...you get the picture. Our family has made so many memorable memories already and we have so many more to come.
