Today was Ca-razy!
I had sooo much to get done before we left to go out of town, and we ended up leaving later than planned. But--I got it all done!
Phew!
And now my Daddy-O and I are just finishing all the pies. We had our usual hiccups as we do every year; like, was the pumpkin always this runny? or which recipe do we use for the vanilla pudding for the banana creams? Who knows?
It all came off without a hitch, well, unless you consider dissecting my already put-together apple pie to rob the apples to add to the other apple pie 'cuz they were very unbalanced. And then piecing the top crust back together. It's pretty ugly, but at this time of night, I am not in the mood to care--still tastes the same right?
