House Update

As Bro. Mo. says eaach time I give him an update on our house: "We are never buying another house." And I don't blame him one bit. I have a good mind to wring our underwriters' neck. Don't they understand or care at all that they are affecting our lives? We are having to pay rent for an extra 8-9 days because they are sooooo slow. And our mortgage broker told me yesterday that no matter how much time he always allows for their snail-pace, they never cease to amaze him. Our lender is US Bank. Remind me sometime never to deal with them again.

We have our moving crew all ready from our current ward to move us out of this house and the moving committee in our new ward set up to be at our new house 4 hours later on Saturday. We have carpet people set up Friday night and alarm installers set to come Saturday. Well, now we have to call and cancel and reschedule all those people. But how do you move on a weekday and expect people to be able to help? Well, we will do our best I guess. We can't stay in this house any longer. So Monday or Tuesday it is. It should have been this Friday.

Trying to see the positive. At least this is a different kind of waiting. No longer are we holding our breath and crossing our fingers just to see if we can even qualify, or get all the necessary paperwork, etc. Now we are at the mercy of the underwritier, the title company and anyone else they can scrounge up to get involved and make this whole process even longer.
So I think it is safe to show a picture. Right now there are two blooming rosebushes right in front--they are absolutely gorgeous!
And this is one doozy of an address (we've already had our fair share of saying it to people over the phone and in person. )
Calle Joya de Ventura
5 bedroom
3 bathroom
2179 sq. ft.
