Abbey says some of the funniest things. For instance, #1--Abb: "Mom there is a daddy-long-legs on the wall." Mom: "It won't hurt you." Abb: "But it has udders on its face." #2--Abb: as she sees lightning--"Mom the sky cracked." Or there was the time when we were at the zoo and the giraffes were getting it on that day and Abbey proclaims as the daddy giraffe is atop the mommy giraffe--"Mom they're frozen!" One day as she stood on the scale she blurted "Mom look how much my feet weigh." And another time as we were sitting at the table eating breakfast she was discussing our visiting teachers' sons. "Mom, Jackson's brother is so uncompleted." To Abbey a bikini is a "zucchini," a fly-swatter is a swatter-flyce and a grasshopper is a "grass-stopper." I love the world through a child's eyes.

Wasn't Bill Cosby who hosted the show Kid's Say the Darnedest Things? Abbey could qualify for that one.
