This is my newest venture. It's called the Kaliedescope Quilt and I first saw it here. Just using up my scraps. And the 10 blocks I have already done (using the paper-piecing method) are incredible!! And machine quilting will be the mode of choice for binding it all together. Another new adventure--one inwhich I can't begin until I break down and pay $40 for the stinkin' darning foot for my machine. UGH!

Paying for the darning foot is cheaper than paying to have someone machine quilt it for you in most cases. In my experience people charge upwards of $60 to $80. It looks great!
